Visit of the Construction Site

A great moment for the team after three years of intensive project work. Together with the assistant of the artist, Ryan Pike and gallery owner Wolfgang Häusler, the Skyspace-Lech is visited and discussed under the harshest weather conditions.

Important details regarding the light installation and the surface condition of the Sensing room are discussed and the next steps are determined.

The snowstorm is exactly according to James Turrell’s taste. The exposed, high-Alpine location in connection with the exciting visual axes have fascinated the artist from the beginning.
